DIVING AROUND MALTA
Malta and it's sister
Island of Gozo offer you the chance to dive year round in what can
only be described as the most desirable conditions for divers of all
levels. Around our shores which are famous for the excellent
visibility and come hither water temperatures can be found wrecks,
reefs, caverns, and walls ranging from just a few meters for the
beginner through to more challenging depths for the intermediate
diver and for those who consider themselves to advanced to find
excitement here we invite you to come and allow us to change your
mind. Many of the dive sites around the Islands are accessible from
shore which is idealfor those divers who for whatever reason prefer
to be land based but there arealso some world class sites that are
only attainable by boat so variety is the name of the game. Finally
with regards to accessibility Malta's shores are tideless which
takes the headache out of dive planning and allows for tremendous
flexibility in terms of what time of day you would like to dive.
What more could you ask for. The standerds of safety in the Maltese Islands is second to none and you will find a helpful hand at every turn whether you are on a course, taking guided diving (which incidentally is the best way to find the prime dives sites and get the most out of them) or just simply renting equipment and doing your own thing. Hyperbaric facilities are never more than minutes away and are manned by highly qualified doctors extremely knowledgeable in diving medicine.
Getting here could
not be easier as Malta's central position in the Mediterranean means
that it is only a short plane ride from most European airports. It
is due to this that Malta attracts divers of all nationalities and
although after Maltese English is the second language you will find
schools provide Instructors for tuition and guiding in most other
Languages including German, Dutch, French, Russian, Italian,
Norwegian etc..
